Star Dancer Coins Roll Into Paradise...
The body of this work was inspired by Walter and Marijka Byck's generous invitation
to create a body of work to be shown at their Paradise Ridge Winery.
I began work on a series of corten steel and ferro-cement
sculptures titled "Coins," in total, 12 entirely new pieces created especially
for this show.
"Circumagi
Uno" and "Circumagi Due" are Star Dancer Coins with conical pivot
arms and spherical centers that allow them to be rotated to advantage
natural
sun
and moon light.

Three
large spheres ranging in size from "Cinque" at 5' diameter, "Sphaera Sphaera" at
40" and "Picolo" weighing in at a 33".

Three Pendulums , Bronze, Verde, and White
Knight, hang gracefully from Native California wild Oak trees. |

A
bronze and ceramic "Sun/Moon Dial" welcomes you upon entering the exhibition. |
